Dubai Shopping Festival returns with concerts, shows, raffles and citywide events
DUBAI – Nora Fatehi headlined the launch of DSF Nights Al Seef, setting the tone for a dynamic start to the Dubai Shopping Festival last night.
Crowds filled the waterfront venue as the global star delivered a high-impact performance that instantly became the highlight of the festival’s first weekend. Her presence, coupled with an expanded roster of regional and international artists, marked a powerful opening for one of Dubai’s biggest annual entertainment and retail celebrations.
Fatehi, whose performances consistently draw global audiences, set Al Seef alight with a mix of new releases and crowd favourites. She performed her latest track What Do I Know (Just A Girl), bringing high-tempo choreography, polished staging and powerful crowd engagement.
In a behind-the-scenes glimpse shared ahead of her appearance, Fatehi spoke about her connection with Dubai’s audiences, describing them as “always multicultural and very, very diverse”. She added that performing in the emirate remains special because of the energy, inclusivity and enthusiasm that define the crowds. Reflecting on her pre-show rhythm, she revealed a routine of intense rehearsals, moments of nervousness, a quiet prayer and the final surge of stepping onto the stage.

Nora Fatehi’s performance formed part of DSF Nights Al Seef, a festival highlight that continues to expand with new artists and waterfront shows throughout the season. The line-up features a broad mix of regional performers, trending creators and established names. Following Fatehi’s headline appearance, audiences were thrilled by sets from Balti, Vega, Shreya Dhanwanthary, DJ Kaboo, Daffy, Flipperachi and Shamma Hamdan, alongside additional artists from the Arabic, South Asian, indie and electronic scenes.
The DSF Nights stage has become one of the festival’s most popular night-time attractions, combining free-entry performances with a bustling outdoor atmosphere, street vendors, food courts and artisanal pop-ups. With a nightly programme running across the waterfront district, Al Seef remains one of the busiest gathering points of the Dubai Shopping Festival.

Beyond Al Seef, the Dubai Shopping Festival continues with a citywide schedule of entertainment, retail and family-friendly activities. Venues across Dubai are hosting concerts, stand-up shows, cultural showcases and international acts, with Dubai Opera, Dubai World Trade Centre, Coca-Cola Arena and other major stages contributing to a packed winter calendar. Outdoor districts including Al Rigga, Bur Dubai, Dubai Marina and Bluewaters are activating night markets, food experiences, roaming performers and creative workshops.
Retail destinations remain central to the festival’s appeal. Participating malls such as Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, Festival City Mall and Nakheel Mall are offering promotions, exclusive collections and extended hours, supported by large-scale raffles and prize draws held throughout the season. The shopping element continues to operate alongside the entertainment calendar, creating a comprehensive citywide experience for residents and visitors.
